The Executive Committee of the ITUM Staff Welfare Society organized the New Year Fair 2024 at the ITUM Shopping Complex on April 9th and 10th, 2024. This vibrant event featured a variety of stalls offering clothing, electrical items, garments, spices, and more, creating an engaging shopping experience for ITUM members as well as visitors from the Diyagama premises.
This occasion was graced by the presence of Major General (Retired) S. K. Thirunavukarasu, Director of ITUM. One of the key highlights of the fair was the opportunity for staff members to purchase electrical goods on installment plans, with payments conveniently deducted from their salaries. This initiative provided significant financial flexibility, allowing them to celebrate the New Year with ease and joy. The event was a great success, fostering a spirit of festivity and community among ITUM members and the wider Diyagama community.
