The Division of Information Technology organized an industrial visitation on the 6th of June 2023 to Virtusa Pvt Ltd, one of the leading IT companies in Sri Lanka. The main objective of this industrial visitation was to provide the students with practical exposure to IT industry and its latest technologies. The students and the academic staff received a warm welcome and were introduced to the company and the corporate world through an interactive session.
Also, the students gained knowledge on emerging technologies and career opportunities in the Information Technology field through interactive sessions and demonstrations. They enjoyed a team engagement session and received an opportunity to experience a tour around the company, which enabled the students to witness the professional setting of the company. It was a successful industrial visitation which inspired students to pursue their career aspirations in Information Technology. The industrial visitation to Virtusa proved to be a valuable and enlightening experience for the students.
